Customer Services Manager
Our client is currently recruiting for a Customer Services Manager for their team.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be a member of the management team with personal and
functional responsibility for the receipt, planning, despatch and delivery on time of customer sales orders together with the communication and effective organisation required to control customer order books. You will lead and support your Sales/Technical Support team so that they can become self-sufficient in supporting their nominated accounts with order book management, order receipt and managing the customers order in general. You will also ensure an effective and efficient supply chain is in place to support high quality despatch schedules. Making the whole supply chain understand the companies quality procedures is highly important in this opportunity.
Provide leadership and support to two small teams
Optimise performance of KPIâ€™s
Manage a demand forecast system
Manage, track and report on performance of Customer Accounts
Oversea the production of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting on customer service activities and chair weekly meetings
Oversea the Distribution Department
Manage as a priority any customer complaints
A proven people manager with strong interpersonal skills
Have a process driven approach with good process enforcement
Experience with planning processes
Experience within a distribution environment with supply chain knowledge
Have an analytical approach and be passionate about continuous improvement
