Job Title: Customer Service Advisor

Contract: Permanent

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £16,500

Hours of work: 9am - 5pm Mon - Fri

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent customer service on both an inbound and an outbound basis
  • Learn and build knowledge of products available to customers
  • Handle complaints following investigation and regulatory processes
  • Produce quotations for customers
  • Handling all administrative duties
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as industry FCA regulations

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Previous customer service experience within a fast paced, high performance team (retail, hospitality or contact center environment)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent record keeping with accuracy and attention to detail paramount
  • Good computer skills
  • Knowledge of MS Word and MS Outlook (word processing and email platforms)
  • Positive attitude and approach
  • Experience working within Financial Services, Banking, FCA regulations, ISA rules, Data Protection and Treating Customers Fairly is highly desirable
