Work with retail partners to capture key business performance reporting levels and summaries including analysis of product categories, assortments, price points, location, active and discontinued items, store volume groups, retail comp stores vs. total, etc.
Work closely with NATAC & NSM with a strong competency in EPOS sales, inventory management, post-promotional analysis, etc and suggesting purchase order/up-stocking /promo order generation / etc.
Access data from key accounts using retailer’s reporting portals and developed business relationships
Create, maintain, and deliver accurate and timely standard Point-of-Sale reports for designated area(s) of responsibility on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Produce Ad-Hoc reports accurately and for timely distribution to both internal and external customers
Document abnormal POS demand attributed to promotions and advertising for use in TY/LY reporting and analysis
Create standardised and custom EPOS reports (Oracle) and conduct product / sales / market / promotional analysis
Provide support for the brands internal and external presentations
Produce weekly retailer EPOS dashboards for a selected number of National Account customers
Develop new sources of retailer EPOS where appropriate
Assists with managing the sales, inventory, and operations planning process by working jointly with departmental teams across the organization to compile, analyse and validate financial data to support stock forecasting.
Produce weekly / monthly dashboard based on Order History to aid management decision making
Be familiar with in house CRM system to deliver ad hoc customer sales reporting as assigned
Works closely with National Account Managers on sales analysis, pricing analysis, and account strategies.
Maintains price file of marketplace for historic & current analysis
Involvement in company Cost Price Increase strategies / initiatives as appropriate
Maintains retailer vendor portals
Conduct regular store visits to better understand Retailer / Competitor initiatives within the market (Product / Price / Promos / POS / Location / etc)
Be familiar with GfK Reporting Models and Data Sets – lower priority
Be familiar with the principles of Category Management
Regular liaison with international Category & Market Insight Teams
Must have a strong Analytic skill set with the ability to provide actionable recommendations based on critical metrics
High level of experience using one or more retail reporting portals
Strong team-work; able to effectively participate and motivate others working within a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to present to all levels within the organization as well as customers
Knowledge of IRI, Nielsen or Gfk tools is desirable
Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database applications, etc)
Proven strong financial and analytical skills to model and quantify impacts of assumptions and events
Able to present information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences, including executive level
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently ;
Ability to think and act strategically.
Previous experience in marketing analytics, sales, or financial analytics is preferred
