Commercial Claims Handler

Our client is looking for a cross class commercial claims handler to join their team in Manchester.

The Job/Duties

This is a busy position, handling Commercial Claims across all classes of insurance, a wide ranging product knowledge is essential for this role. You will able to obtain the best possible claims settlements for clients as quickly as possible whilst providing continued support throughout the process. You will be able to provide technical expertise and advice where necessary, the ability to maintain and improve high levels of business retention. You will have the confidence to negotiate difficult claims with both clients and Insurers. The ideal candidate will be a good team player but also have the ability to work on your own initiative.

The Person

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years Commercial Claims Handling experience. They will be confident and have good written and oral skills. You will have the ability to build good relationships with both clients and Insurers/underwriters.

Professional Qualifications

Progress towards the CII would be advantageous although not essential. A good standard of general education is expected.
