Commercial Account Executive - Flexible-Working (Warm Leads Provided)

Working closely with the Branch Director, you will benefit from a warm handover of a (six-figure commission) portion of his personal portfolio of accounts - a mixed bag of clients from a variety of industry sectors, including one very well-known Yorkshire institution. You will also benefit from a close working relationship with the Inhouse Contact Manager (Telesales Exec’) who works in a lead generation and appointment-setting capacity, providing you with all the pertinent information you need prior to your meetings - all the team are routinely exceeding their targets, and regularly earning handsome bonuses as a result!
Ideally, you will currently be a Commercial Account Executive, but we welcome applications from Account Handlers and Underwriters who are confident in their ability to excel in a client-facing capacity. You must have a sound understanding of all common commercial covers and be comfortable dealing with clients from a range of industry sectors, both blue and white collar. Excellent communication skills are also a 'must have’, as is the ability to convert new business leads and identify opportunities to cross and up-sell ancillary covers to existing clients.
As mentioned above, you will receive a generous basic salary that is anticipated to be £45,000 - £65,000 but is completely negotiable for outstanding candidates.
This broker is a big believer of empowering its colleagues and provides a great deal of autonomy regarding working practices. For days when you are in the office, they are based in central Leeds close to all the bars, restaurants and local amenities, with local transport links and ample parking nearby.
