Due to a surge of new work within the space, SJC Partners is currently working on behalf of an award-winning BIG 4 Accountancy firm as it looks to strengthen it's Risk Consulting team with an experienced Capital Markets Manager (Process FRTB).

The successful candidate will be advising and assisting clients with the impact of the changing capital requirements framework ('Basel 4'), with particular focus on the new market risk requirements and Fundamental Review of the Trading Book ('FRTB'). This role is primarily a qualitative SME focussing on the impact on bank business models and potential solutions. It will also require you working with senior Front Office (primarily Trading) stakeholders at investment banks as well as other functions such as Risk and Product Control. Furthermore you will be expected to manage and develop junior team members and pro actively liaise with and update senior internal stakeholders covering project delivery and client marketing.

Applicants must have Market risk knowledge, front Office experience and strong knowledge and understanding of market risk frameworks and processes including risk management, risk control and product control. Furthermore proven ability of having responsibility for effectively delivering market risk engagements and strong understanding of regulatory reforms impacting financial institutions (specifically, FRTB) is required.
