Butchery Manager / Operations

The client, a respected manufacturer in their field is looking for a butchery/production manager to help increase the business without compromising their high level of quality, service and delivery.

This is where it gets interesting as you will be getting involved in overseeing the whole facility; however, the key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Managing a medium size team from production to QA supervisors
  • Overseeing the whole of the production function making sure all KPI's are set and met
  • Managing the packaging and logistics including Goods in and dispatch

The role will involve travel between sites but will eventually look to be a head office role.

Ideally, you will be in a butchery/ production management position in the food industry with an understanding of whole carcass processing. You must be able to roll your sleeves up and get involved anywhere in the business but most importantly you must have a passion for food.
