The Role
The Business Process Manager will be responsible for investigating and analysing business activities and processes with the objective of transforming the operation through the implementation of an ERP (business management system) and business process re-engineering (BPR). The role will be to initially assist in the implementation of the systems to gain operational transparency, and subsequently to assist in the identification and implementation of business process improvement opportunities to deliver and realise benefits.
The Business Process Manager will supervise and ensure the companies compliance with GDPR and relevant health and safety legislation along with gained accreditations including but not limited to ISO 9001, ISO14001, Qualicoat, CHAS, BBA and BRE.

Key Responsibiliities

Understand and assist documenting existing business process flows and operational structures with the departmental managers and translate these into an effective system build specification
Provide training, coaching and support to operational teams and management throughout the transformation process
Work with the Digital Manager to identify, agree and apply system specification refinements
Review, analyse and evaluate current business processes and practices to propose and implement improvements
Understand how people, processes and systems interact and aid the Digital Manager with identification where technology (such as integration and automation), as well as process re-engineering, could be applied to improve these interactions
Develop business cases and conduct cost and benefit analysis
Facilitate meetings and workshops for team members and key stakeholders
Communicate between internal departments, acting as a 'translator' where necessary to confirm how the project can support the organisation's needs
Help the organisation to develop its functions and services to meet goals with internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of planning and organising own workload in order to follow/meet a given brief.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
Proven experience in eliciting requirements internally or equivalent with external customers.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and GDPR regulations.
Ability to develop and entrench change techniques in an organisation.

Excellent understanding of the way the organisation works, business processes, and the sector it operates in.
Experience of business management systems.
Ability to establish and govern business process towards excellence performance.
Practical experience of generating detailed process documentation.
Broad knowledge of how to use a range of software applications to capture and document business processes.
Knowledge of a range of technologies that can be used to improve business processes such as reporting and integration software etc.
Experience of projects that use technology to transform end to end business processes.
