phs Compliance are recruiting for a Bid Coordinator in our main office in Golborne, this position would be covering maternity over 25hrs per week. As a Bid Coordinator, you would play a key role in co-ordinating commercial bids, tenders and proposals.To support the needs of the Bid Team co-ordinating bid communications from expressing interest to submitting responses. You will have high standards of time management with a very strong attention to detail. You’ll need to be a confident communicator and have the ability to manage information in a timely manner.
Roles and Responsibilities
reporting to Tenders and Bids Manager
Co-ordinate the emails and communicate to the relevant stakeholders within the business
·Maintain filing systems and follow process
·Gather evidence from within the business to assist the team in producing a quality response
·Collect and regularly update appropriate data for bids, for example financial records or employee qualifications
·Maintain accurate records and save material to a shared bid library for future use
·Adhere to strict submission deadlines and organise own workload appropriately
·To assist with writing tasks and provide information not only for immediate team members but for colleagues from within the business
·Contribute to and work effectively as part of the Commercial team
·Right to work in the UK
·Excellent levels of literacy and numeracy
·Excellent typing, telephone, communication and organisational skills
·Good attention to detail
·Ability to stay calm under pressure
·Methodical and thorough approach to work
·Organised and good at juggling tasks and prioritising
·An excellent team player
·A desire to show initiative
·Experience of working to tight and strict deadlines
·Experience in using Excel
·Enjoys working as part of a close, busy and supportive team.
·25hrs per week (Monday to Friday)
·Annual Salary £16,000-£17,000 (Pro-rata)
·28days holiday per year (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)
