Role: Assistant Performance Manager

Permanent 37.5 Hours

Based at: Bernicia House, Goldcrest Way, Newburn Business Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE15 8NY

Salary: £31,365 - £37,890, Band 6, Agenda for Change

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our Planning and Performance team as an assistant performance manager. Urgent and Emergency Care is transforming, providing a more responsive service closer to home for urgent care needs, and providing treatment in alternative settings for emergency needs. How we measure and manage performance for these new ways of working is key to delivering benefits for patients across the region.

The successful candidate will be key to implementing the new performance management framework, supporting and aligning corporate plans with performance. Able to build successful working relationships with senior managers and operational colleagues to identify opportunities to improve performance and develop improvement plans. The post-holder will also be responsible for producing regular performance reports and carrying out analysis to help support key business decisions, aligned to our Strategic Plan.

In order to be considered for the role it is essential to have previous experience in a performance management role and expected to be educated to Degree level, along with a proven track record of delivering improvement.
