Administration Assistant

The Administration Assistant will be a part of a fantastic, growing administration team in Macclesfield. The role is extremely varied and will involve everything from covering reception, ordering stationary, booking meetings, travel and diary management, producing documents to all ad hoc admin duties.

The duties of the Administration Assistant include:

  • Answering the telephone, answering queries, taking messages
  • Organising, franking and sending out mail
  • Processing courier collections and delivery notes
  • Updating spreadsheets and reports
  • Producing professional documents, notices and rotas to support Manufacturing shop floor and ISO 90001
  • Management of meeting room bookings and welcoming visitors
  • Organising travel, hotel and events for the company Director(s)
  • Organising and maintaining office electronic and manual filing systems
  • Organising and emailing out surcharge letters to customers
  • Amending and checking price lists
  • Ordering stationery and other office/business supplies


The ideal candidate will have / be:

  • The ability to work well under pressure

  • The ability to multi task and prioritise workload

  • Strong attention to detail and desire to get things right

  • Excellent communication skills both with colleagues, customers and suppliers
  • Organised and able to work on own initiative
  • Good all round IT skills and proficiency in MS Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel

Job Offer

37.5 hours a week

£16,000- £18,000 per annum + benefits
