Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £19,000 - £21,000 per annum
Type: Permanent, Full- time
Our client based in the heart of Welwyn Garden City are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. The Accounts Assistant will assist and report to the Finance Manager.
The ideal candidate will have accounting experience or a degree in a related field. An understanding of Marketing is not essential, but desirable.
- Supplier Invoice checking
- Cross referencing invoices
- Sales ledger
- Purchase ledger
- Chase payments
- Liaise with customers over the phone and via E-mail
- Reliably report to the Finance Manager
- Sage 50/200 experience
- Some knowledge of Marketing beneficial but not essential
- Experience using MS Office and Google Docs
- Have an understanding of Cross referencing
- Eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays
