Accounts Assistant - Finance Administrator

Lloyd Recruitment Services - the East Grinstead Branch are currently working with a leading Media and Events company based in Croydon area. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant - Finance Administrator to join their busy team!

Overall, the Accounts Assistant - Finance Administrator role will entail ensuring debt ledgers are kept to a controlled level and maintaining good relationships with customers. Candidates must have proven experience using Sage accounts.

Salary: £25K - £30K dependent on exeprience. Office hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30

Duties and responsibilities within the Accounts Assistant - Finance Administrator role will include:

  • Sending out monthly invoices
  • Respond to all invoice enquiries
  • Credit control for 300 customer accounts
  • Allocate payment receipts
  • Resolution of all credit control queries
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Make sure invoices are approved in time
  • Process credit card payments
  • Process refunds
  • Escalation of issues to senior management as required
  • General admin support

Personal Specification:

  • Proven experience working within accounts - finance
  • Confident using email and excel spreadsheets
  • Good attention to detail
  • Problem solving
  • Experience in using Sage Accounts
  • Team Player
  • Experience of debt collections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
