Our client is a market leading logistics provider responsible for supplying over 600,000 customers throughout the UK across multiple channels that range from E - Commerce businesses, hotel chains, restaurant chains through to local authorities, education, professional services and defence contractors as well as many independent operators across many industries.
As a field based Account Manager, you will be covering the Reading area and a 20 miles radius. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new sales opportunities using a consultative approach to sales, fact finding and closing the sale within the region. You will also be responsible for managing some accounts analysing territory sales data, minimising order losses and identifying cross-selling and up selling opportunities.
You will sell to a wide range of businesses ranging from independent businesses, E Commerce market, professional services and many more. The points of contact level will vary hugely from business owners, operations managers up to sales and managing directors.
- Logistics experience is desirable
- Strong B2B field sales experience
- Excellent selling skills with a proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Excellent team player, due-diligent, career-minded and proactive
£28,000 - £30,000 basic salary, £20,000 OTE, Co. Car, Laptop, Mobile, Pension, healthcare and 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays)
