Our client is a leading global customer engagement agency that gets their clients’ customers to engage with brands through marketing communications involving a mix of data, creative, technology, insight and ideas. The firm contacts every UK household at least once a week on behalf of the some of the best known and influential global brands.
A highly experienced Account Director with a minimum 5 years’ experience leading high profile, dynamic and demanding accounts in a recognised agency, is required to work across multiple client accounts across Healthcare, Insurance and Telecommunications. There is a heavy focus on data driven digital and email marketing, coupled with data analytics and customer journey planning to support and drive improvements in customer engagement. Leading a team of two you will operate as an expert extension of clients’ CRM team, developing and delivering digital CRM innovation, exceptional client service and operational delivery. You will inspire and lead a high performing team that extends beyond the direct reports including technical, planning, creative and operations. You will own the client relationships at senior level and ensure their expectations are exceeded and innovation is delivered. Briefing all strategic work into the relevant department you will manage the team by setting SMART objectives, understand the end-to-end print / production and digital email / SMS execution process and act as the Digital Marketing expert for clients with your portfolio.
Preferably educated to degree level (ideally in a marketing / media / business discipline), you will have 5 years+ Account Management / Campaign Management experience at a recognised agency. This will include 3-5 years people management experience. An excellent communicator, you will demonstrate passion and understanding of digital CRM, BTL direct marketing with exposure to data / digital marketing. Demonstrating experience within a print / direct mail environment you should have a good understanding of the production process.
