Tradewind are currently recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN School based in Chester. The School is an independent Day and Residential Special School for young people with Autism aged 4-19 years old whom may have additional learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge.

The role for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant is to start April and is a long term, full time role to start immediately. It is a long term role that could become permanent for the right candidate.

The role will be working with 1:1 pupil with Autism and ADHD. The ideal candidate would have experience working 1:1 and experience with Autism and ADHD but not essential.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
