Overview

Our online Verification of Death course is aimed at nurses working in primary care, supportive care and care homes. It will support the development of your knowledge and skill to competently verify death of adults. It is not limited to any particular setting or situation, but enables the nurse to understand the procedure to verify death within the contexts of both expected and unexpected death (and the particular considerations for both situations)

Course Duration

All of our Speciality, Mandatory or Multi Sector Online courses require a minimum of between 1 & 2 hours to complete in full. This is only a guide to the learning hours required and it depends on how quickly an individual can absorb the information. The learning is online so it can be spread out over multiple sessions or done in one session.

Learners will have access to this course for 12 months from the date of accessing the course for the first time. There is no time limit to complete the course during this 12 month period.

The assessment can be re-taken as many times as the learner requires at no extra cost. We must advise that the questions do change each time. All of our Speciality, Mandatory or Multi Sector Online courses are designed to teach as well as assess.
