Overview

Want to kick start your career in Website & Mobile App Development? This is the perfect bundle for you

Are you wanting to learn how to properly code websites and mobile apps? Either for personal or commercial reasons? This is the perfect bundle for you. In the duration of this 16 course bundle you will learn how to code in the vast majority of the most popular coding languages throughout the world, such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, SQL and many more!

You will also be shown how to use several applications to help assist you in developments, such as Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 & ColdFusion 11.

By the end of this course bundle you will have mastered the majority of coding languages and will have the knowledge to easily create responsive websites, stunning mobile applications & easy-to-use content management systems.

What are all these languages, and what is their role?

HTML - HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language & describes the structure of a website, it usually coincides with CSS.

CSS - CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet & is used to style certain attributes and elements in HTML sites.

SQL - SQL stands for Structured Query Language & is used to access, manipulate and build databases.

jQuery - jQuery is a JavaScript library, and the uses of this are endless. Picture responsive slideshows, animations, full-screen galleries & much more.

XML - XML stands for EXtensible Markup Language, and works in similar ways to HTML and was designed to transport & store data.

XHTML - XHTML stands for EXtensible HyperText Markup Language, and is almost identical to HTML, but stricter.

C++ - C++ is used to develop many software applications, used on both Windows & Mac operating systems.

Who would find this course bundle beneficial?

This course bundle is fantastic for (but not limited to) any budding coder who wants to extend their knowledge of code and branch out to other areas, either for personal reasons or to boost their career opportunities. It is also great for anyone who wants to learn from scratch by building their own website. The course bundle will take you through from the simpler languages such as HTML & CSS to the more complex languages like jQuery at your own pace, so even if you have no prior knowledge you will still be able to learn it all like a pro.

What career opportunities would this course bundle offer?

All front-end & back-end development jobs would indefinitely require HTML & CSS as a basic skill. But as well as this, certain jobs will require many of the other languages too. As an example, a front-end developer would normally be required to have knowledge of jQuery & JavaScript as well as the basic HTML & CSS, whereas a back-end developer may also be required to have knowledge of SQL for database use.

If a typical career isn't for you, you can also use these skills to work as a freelancer & work for yourself by taking on new clients. Whatever the clients needs are, you will almost certainly be able to fulfil their request with your newly learnt skills.

The biggest benefit of a job in coding is the opportunity to work anywhere in the world that has a good Wi-Fi connection.

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
