The Award involves learning about the development of children and young people, and how to safeguard their welfare and communication. The Award will equip learners to work with children aged 5 to 18 and covers a variety of areas including development, working with individuals in different capacities and learning about the schooling system.

Method of Assessment:

The learner must achieve 4 mandatory Level 3 units, totalling 12 credits. There are no exemptions, barred combinations or equivalent units.

The Award will be assessed by your Tutor or Assessor using a range of methods. This may include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task.

Additionally, £139 (Inc. VAT) is charged for your assessment and certificate. You need to pay this when you are submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially when you are registering). This payment can be paid in installments when you are submitting your assessments.

Certification:

Upon successful completion of this course will be awarded an NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
