Overview
COURSE INTRODUCTION
NVQ's offer an excellent opportunity to learn and gain qualifications without the typically associated time spend away from the workplace, allowing you to develop a portfolio of evidence to reach the qualification criteria whilst continuing with your day-to-day duties.
The modular qualification is delivered flexibly via tutorials, observations, presentations and assignments. The modules will develop your knowledge and skills in order for you to provide evidence towards the NVQ units in the qualification. During each session you will take part in a workshop to discuss and identify suitable evidence requirements for the relevant units associated with the module.
You will implement what you have learnt and gather the evidence requirements from your workplace over the following month.
A high level of support will be provided throughout the course to help you gradually build up a portfolio of evidence to satisfy the NVQ requirements. There will be an individual one-to-one on site assessment visit during the latter part of the course.
The qualification typically takes 12 months to complete.

COURSE PRE-REQUISITES
Eligible Candidates must be in a vocation where they are able to evidence competencies set by the qualification criteria.

COURSE BENEFITS
Regulated sites will require Site Managers to hold the CSCS Black Card, for which this qualification is a recognized pathway. Any Site Manager wishing to increase their career prospects is strongly recommended to complete this qualification.
