The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is an industry recognised course. This five day course will cover a broad range of topics that will equip the delegate with the necessary knowledge to comply with associated legislation to ensure healthy and safe conditions for construction site employees. Delegates will gain the knowledge required to comply with legislation and regulations within a construction environment, such as the Health and Safety Act 1974.

- Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations
- Risk assessments/method statements
- Recent changes in accepted working practices
- Behavioural safety
- Management of occupational health
- Working at height
- Confined spaces

This course is ideal for individuals who manage or supervise construction sites including:

- Senior supervisors
- Proprietors of small to medium sized companies
There is no pre-course preparation required to attend this course however a good understanding of spoken and written English is ideal.
