Description
Developed in conjunction with experts from the retail industry, our Retail Management MSc taps into the UK's wealth of cutting-edge retail expertise. The course provides a detailed knowledge of the concepts and processes involved in retailing. It covers both theoretical and practical approaches relevant to best practice in the international retail business. Students will learn business skills such as budgeting, problem solving, consultancy skills, and managing groups and teams.

Requirements:
Individual offers may vary. Degree and/or experience: normally a good honours degree or equivalent is required. Work experience is useful but not essential. Applicants with non-standard entry qualifications will be considered. If you are unsure whether you meet the entry requirements then please contact us.
For non-native speakers of English: in order to benefit from, contribute to and enjoy the course, a good command of spoken and written English language is required. If English is not your first language, you will need English language proficiency equivalent to an overall IELTS score of at least 6.5, with 6 in the written test.
Assessment Methods:
Assessment is composed of a mix of coursework, project work and examinations.
Modules:
Autumn term: moving to masters (induction); retail marketing and branding; accounting for managers. Spring term: customer experience, consumer psychology and store operations; buying and supply chain logistics; research methods. Summer term: retail strategy and internationalisation; managing organisational behaviour. Plus one option from: retail technology; innovation and creativity; retail consultancy. Choice of a research project or a work placement
