Overview

This PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Course is fully Accredited PRINCE2 Project Management Training and will prepare the delegates for the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Exams, included on this course. Our current pass rate for the Foundation exam is 99.5% and for the Practitioner exam is 83%, 10% higher than the UK National average.

The PRINCE2® Certifications are widely regarded as essential for managing projects using PRINCE2.

The training is designed to give you a thorough understanding of PRINCE2; you will learn about the PRINCE2 approach to projects – its principles, themes, processes, and techniques.

Furthermore, the training builds on your knowledge of PRINCE2, by showing you how to apply the method to the various styles of exam questions. You will be well prepared to pass the Foundation and the Practitioner exams during the course.

PRINCE2 is a method for managing projects, there is no hardware or software (apart from supporting tools), just a best practice approach to running projects in a consistent and referencable framework. PRINCE2 is flexible, adaptable and as much as a Project method can be, friendly. It may be similar to what you currently use, but what it does best is pull together common names and descriptions into a structure that anyone familiar with PRINCE2 can understand, regardless of background and Industry.

PRINCE2 can be applied to all sorts of projects, from the very small to the very large. Even projects lasting only a few days will benefit from selective application of PRINCE2 guidelines. The key to success with PRINCE2 is to remember it is highly configurable, and so can be adapted for all project types regardless of industry and marketplace.

This is 4.5 days training course and you will also receive online pre-course study materials, which summarise the most essential aspects of the PRINCE2 syllabus. This will allow you to prepare for the course in just 3-4 hours, instead of the 16+ hours required by many other training providers.

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
