Overview
Our 2 day PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner course is designed to give candidates an extensive overview of the PRINCE2® methodology as well as ensuring that you are fully prepared for the final exam.
This course delineates the fundamental constituents of the PRINCE2® methodology - including the processes, themes, and principles, that underpin proficient project management. Whilst learning how to increase productivity and functionality of a project, we will also discuss the similarities and the opposites of Agile vs PRINCE2® Project Management styles. This training course will help candidates appreciate that a project must remain worthwhile and of business value throughout its lifecycle, in order to be deemed a success. It is more rigid in nature than Agile being a flexible approach.
Prince 2 is still by far the most popular project management certification in the UK, and more recently a 2017 revised approach has been introduced. PRINCE2® is an established process-driven methodology that appears commonly across industries and organisations of all sizes and types. Hence, this PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner course promotes an appreciation for project risk, contingency plans, business justifications, and of how to optimise individual project contributions.
Prince 2 has seen many project managers pass this qualification in recent years and returning again to refresh knowledge or update their qualification. Hence, undertaking this PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner course can elevate a candidate’s career opportunities, through demonstrating that they can effectively contribute to a PRINCE2® project team.
This course includes the official PRINCE2® exam.
