Overview
This exciting course brings a new perspective to the benefits of modern performance management as part of talent management. Many organisations struggle to make their performance management systems work as intended and hence the desired outcomes for key talent are missed, leading to problems of low motivation and attrition. Using the innovative and unique Coaching On the Go approach, we explore the difference leaders and managers can make to driving a high-performance culture enabling the effective use of any existing PM systems you may have in place.
This course brings a new perspective on increasing the effectiveness of performance management, talent management and leadership development practices. Through this course we enable participants to raise organisational performance by seizing on opportunities to coach-on-the-go and to deliver everyday leadership moments that make a difference to galvanising the fullest talent of the organisation.
Recent data from McKinsey shows that 74% of organisations with effective performance management systems, and who outperform peers as a result, have managers who are effective at coaching. As a result, this course focuses on a set of skills that can be used by leaders, regardless of seniority or experience.
Through the unique COTG Skills Report, an innovative research-based tool, participants engage in new leadership practice. The course considers the macro view of performance management to include leadership behaviour, talent retention, motivation, engagement and wellbeing.
