OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Information Technology consists of 6 mandatory units that learners need to complete in order to achieve the Level 5 qualification in computing.

Requirements

Entry Requirements
The learner must fulfil at least one of the following criteria to be allowed entry to the qualification:

• Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 4 diploma or equivalent recognised qualification
• Mature learners (over 18) with relevant work experience
• English language at a minimum of CEFR (the Common European Framework) level B2 or an IELTS level 5.5

this is self-paced with a duration of 24 weeks. can i complete it in less than 24 weeks? What is the minimum amount of time required to complete it?

Answer:

Hello The learners can complete the course earliest in 12 weeks but having said that there are guidelines from ofqual and. awarding body to study and meet the TQT so that learners are able to gain knowledge and skills from the course. The pace at which you study is dictated by you and hence if you study 4-5 days a weeks you can complete in less time.

The certificate will be sent once you have completed all the units and met all the assessment of the course. Hard copy can be ordered from OTHM Qualification, as they have stopped using any hard prints since 1st Feb 2023, under the government e-certificate and digital certification initiative.
