Overview
This Oracle Application Express 5 (APEX) course introduces the delegate to Oracle's Application Express version 5.1 software. It is designed to give delegates practical experience in using Application Express version 5, also known as Apex, for building web-based applications for an Oracle database and websheets for managing structured and unstructured data.
New to Apex version 5.1 is the Interactive Grid feature. Interactive Grid allows the rapid editing of multiple rows of data in a dynamic grid and combines the best features of Interactive Reports and Tabular Forms. There are also enhancements to the Universal Theme, Page Designer, Calendars, Charts, the Create Application and Page Wizards and uploading files.

Requirements
A working knowledge of Oracle SQL and a basic knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is required. Some knowledge of HTML would be beneficial but is not essential.
