Description
Playing is a stage that every child should enjoy for this is the stage that builds a foundation of developing a happy child, wherein happy playing memories further develops their values such as camaraderie, respect, confidence, self-expression and self-esteem.
The role and responsibility of a Playworker is to facilitate a safe, fun, engaging environment that supports children’s play.
The 8 Playwork Principles provides an ethical framework within the Playwork profession.
A good Playwork environment in a community brings together children and even parents, that promotes respect, honesty and integrity with dealing with others and accountability for personal behavior. With these being present in the community environment growth and positivity will greatly develop.
At the end of this course, students shall learn how to:
(1) promote positive relationships;
(2) provide challenging play environment;
(3) manage Playwork provision as well as
(4) reflective practices.
To achieve these goals, this course shall make use of interactive materials to present the concepts of the topics to be discussed. Assessments shall be done after the entire course to check for knowledge retention and understanding.
Parents feel that they make a right decision in raising their children in a community that has facilities that provides security as well as play areas that bring community together which actively encourage community spirit.
For Certification: To achieve a Certificate of Training, trainees must pass an online test that we will provide. This online exam may be taken any time, at the trainees’ convenience.
All assessments and exams shall be provided via online.
