Description
This course is designed for those interested or already engaged in a career in the industry. It aims to help them develop a comprehensive understanding of the oil and gas industry, making them aware of recent developments as well as limitations and problems with the techniques in current practice.

Requirements:
Accredited prior learning will be permitted only under the terms of the university procedure. Successful applicants will normally be required to have an 2.1 (or better) Honours degree in a subject broadly related to the science, engineering or business and management branches of the oil and gas industry. Ideally students should have a working knowledge of chemistry to at least Level 2 (GCSE). English competence for international applicants should be in line with university requirements for Master's level taught degrees (IELTS 6.0 overall and 5.5 in all elements). International Students will require approval from the Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS).

Modules include: international commercial awareness; the future of the oil and gas industry; petroleum chemistry and refining; strategic and project management.
