Duration and Delivery

This Level 3 Online Business Course is designed to be completed over two-years of full-time study. However, we provide flexible online study, meaning you can potentially finish it in as little as 4 months. The Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business: Retail is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Assessment & Verification

All units within this Level 3 Business Course are internally verified by our qualified assessors and externally verified by NCFE. This course is criterion-referenced, based on specific learning outcomes to enhance a wide range of retail business and entrepreneurship knowledge and skills related to functioning within a business environment. Each unit is graded using the following structure; Not Yet Achieved, Pass, Merit, and Distinction.

Progression

Successful completion of this Level 3 Business Course enables learners to get direct entry into the Level 4 Business Diplomas, such as the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Business Management and the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and Business. As this Diploma is regulated and approved by OFQUAL (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulations), learners will also be able to get entry into higher level of studies in various fields at university or HE colleges. Completion will also give learners UCAS points, depending on your grade. Learners get: 24 for a pass, 48 for a merit, 72 for a distinction, and 84 for a distinction*.

Who is this course for?

This course is for learners who want to gain a qualification relating to business retail that will prepare them for working in the field or top them up on UCAS points and allow them to advance to higher levels of studies

Requirements

For entry into this course, learners must meet the following criteria:

  • This course can be offered to learners of all ages. While not mandatory, learners may benefit from having a level 2 qualification.
  • Learners must have the general capacity to undertake this course.
  • Only taught in English.

English Language Requirements:

Learners are expected to have English language proficiency of CEFR Level B2. This can be shown in the following ways:

  1. Being a native English speaker.
  2. Heaving achieved IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
  3. Having done your last two years of schooling in English.
  4. Passing the free English language test on our website.
