Description

This Diploma course in Mailroom Management will provide participants with the vital skills required to manage mail processes and supervise mailroom operations and staff across the industry. Participants will learn the in-depth skills required for management roles, how the modern world and major courier companies enhance, plan, implement and control the distribution of mail from one location to another.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this diploma course, participants will be awarded with Mailroom Management Diploma, and will also be able to:

  • Manage activities of staffs engaged in wrapping and addressing printed material, for mailing and dispatching.
  • Record distribution of material to subscribers and dealers in Times, suburban, home, and country divisions working from shipping and mailing reports.
  • Plan, schedule, organise and direct work, training personnel.
  • Recommend applicants for employment or discipline, termination or retention.
  • Recommend improvements, changes or new policies and procedures to improve mail service and control costs.
  • Direct the handling and disposal of outdated files or sensitive material from campus departments.
