Description

This course prepares trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts and requires observation and assessment practice. Teaching practice is a requirement of the qualification.

The course qualifies one to work in the lifelong learning sector as a teacher, upon receiving certificate you are able to apply for (QTLS) if you have DTLLS or PGCE.

You will need to commit to a minimum 50 hours of teaching practice in a recognized lifelong learning location to earn a Diploma.

Whilst on the course you need to achieve 45 credits. This can be gained from 3 units and it could be completed within 6 – 12 months.

A qualified teacher will observe your teaching for a minimum of one hour during your course on 4 separate occasions. Each learner is assigned to a qualified teacher, mentor who will talk you through the course, and also provide support and feedback when assignment is submitted.
