This diploma introduces a range of topics relevant to employment in healthcare and health science. Learners will gain an extensive skillset for both care and managing, ensuring that they are able to fulfil a managerial level role.

To modern eyes, how students were assessed about half-century ago may look rather limited and repetitive. This qualification is designed for managers entering a more senior position and being exposed to new types of information and decisions.

Learner must fulfil at least one of the following criteria to be allowed entry to the qualification:

Academic Qualification

• Possession of Level 4 diploma or year 1 of bachelors degree or any equivalent overseas qualification

Or

In case of no formal education, learners can gain entry on the basis of workexperience.

• Learners having 2 years of work experience or more are eligible in case of no formal educational qualification.

Students who complete this qualification can progress to the Level 5 Extended Diplomas or Level 6 Diploma in Health & Socialcare provide the third year of a Bachelors Degree at a university.
