Description

This distance learning introductory course will cover the following:-

  1. Human psychology, basic anatomy and physiology, the history of hypnotherapy.
  2. Brain waves, depth of trance, understanding self, confidence, self esteem, insecurity.
  3. Modalities, contraindications, mental health, counselling skills.
  4. The initial consultation and running sessions. What is hypnosis? What is hypnotherapy? What hypnotherapy can be used for, PMR’s and other inductions.
  5. Counselling skills, treatment plans, suggestions and script writing.
  6. Personalising scripts, fears, phobias, habits and positive thinking.
  7. Quit smoking. Self-reflection, setting own goals and future.
  8. Stress

Throughout the course you will be expected to complete all tasks and assignments, keep a portfolio of everything you do, including reading, working with others, research etc. Keeping a portfolio will help you develop your skills and knowledge as well as being very helpful when you are ready to set up in practice.

Our hypnotherapy and counselling distance learning courses are fully accredited by the Association of Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH).
