The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing & Heating is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace. Learners are required to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and experience on site for the chosen path. This qualification is suitable for those practising in the trade area.
City & Guilds domestic heating and plumbing courses cover the essential knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in domestic plumbing and heating. Areas of study include:

- Domestic hot and cold water systems

- Environmental technologies
- Gas safety
The NVQ Level 2 plumbing and heating qualification is designed for anyone who is working as a plumber or domestic heating engineer. It provides all the basic domestic heating and plumbing training you need to progress your work in the industry and give you a recognised qualification.
The awarding organisation for this qualification is City & Guilds Awarding Body and the regulatory body is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
This qualification has been accredited onto the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
The duration of an NVQ Assessment will be agreed during your Initial assessment & Induction.
We will visit you on site to observe you and gain to evidence required, a portfolio of evidence will be collected.
However, we would expect your NVQ qualification to be complete within 3 to 6 months.
