This level 2 NVQ is the equivalent of a GCSE qualification, and is recommended for those who are looking to move into the care sector, or are working mainly under supervision. The programme focuses on enabling quality person centred care, developing and maintaining an individual’s independence, and improving the delivery of care to service users. For this reason, it is highly recommended for home care assistants, community support workers, healthcare assistants and residential or day service assistants who work with adults. Delegates will get the option to customise their NVQ to suit them, with generic, dementia and learning disabilities pathways available.
