This course will provide participants with an introduction to the facilitation of student-centred learning. It will include a mix of theory and practical skills that can be applied in the workplace environment

As well as primary and secondary teachers, the recognition of the importance of education for very young children has led to a growth of opportunities for early years teachers.

Description

This is a program of study primarily for people who are currently teaching but have had no formal teacher education or for those who have no backround in teaching. This course is an introductory one that considers the three domains of being a teacher: Professional Knowledge and Understanding; Professional Practice; and Professional Values, Relationships and Engagement.

This course is research based which means candidates will be required to look into a variety of subjects.

The course consists of 12 UNITS each of which are assessed via multiple choice/case study and true/false questions:
