About Our Joint Professional Life Coaching and Counselling Course

This comprehensive life coaching course refers in detail to the Counselling 1995 National Occupational Standards with an additional lesson explaining the 2007 NOS Revision.

The course is accredited by the Society of Holistic Therapists and Coaches (SHTC) for professional practitioner membership and provides diploma qualification jointly in Life Coaching and Counselling. Personal coaching, basic counselling, Gestalt counselling, psychodynamic theory, humanistic theory, cognitive behavioural theory and essential counselling skills are included in the course.

Specific issues such as anger, stress, weight control, smoking cessation, emotional issues, faith issues and group/couples work are all discussed in detail. Relaxation, visualisation and autogenic techniques are also included. Optional practical training is available direct from the SHTC.

What Can I Do After Taking This Life Coaching and Counselling Course?

Start your own business as a life coach. After successfully completing our life coaching training course, you could start your own business providing life coaching services and earning anywhere from £65 to £500/hour*.

Work as a counsellor. You could also work as a counsellor after successfully completing our Joint Professional Life Coaching and Counselling course, spending time with clients on their own, with their families, or in groups. You could counsel clients in schools, through social services or charities, or in your own private practice. As a benchmark, school counsellors can earn up to £61,000+**/year.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
