The HND in Fashion and Textiles is a two year qualification designed to equip you with a wide range of creative and technical skills which will allow you to work as a fashion or textile designer within the industry.

Requirements

Minimum age: 18 years old
Qualifications: UK applicants: four GCSEs (C or above).
Minimum two A levels (D or above) any NARIC recognised equivalence
Language proficiency:
IELTS 5.5 (min. 5.0 in each component)
PTE 51 (min. 51 in each component)
TOEFL (IBT) 87 – min. L-21, R-22, S-23, W-21
Mature students: (over 21) are accepted subject to satuisfactory literacy and numeracy tests, work experience (if applicable) and a strong personal statement

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
