This Fire Marshal course will give your key fire safety staff the skills, knowledge and confidence to manage fire safety. Effectively managing fire safety in your business will help you to reduce the risk of prosecution.
They will also learn how to ensure fire safety measures and evacuation procedures are in place and effective within your business.

confidently. - Managing the evacuation process.
- Common fire fighting systems.
- How to extinguish fires.
- The use of portable fire fighting equipment
including practical hands on experience. - The importance of fire risk assessments and
who carries them out. - The stages of a fire risk assessment.
- How to carry out fire safety inspections.
- Understanding and inspecting fire-fighting
equipment and systems. - The important role of a fire marshal including
duties and responsibilities.
Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for anyone responsible for fire safety in any workplace. This includes Fire Marshals, Fire Wardens, Managers, Team Leaders, Heads of Department or Supervisors.
Requirements
Candidates are not required to have any prior knowledge or qualifications in fire safety to enable them to attend this course.
However, it is recommended that candidates have a minimum of Level 1 in Literacy/English or equivalent to undertake this qualification. Candidates should be aged 14 or above.
