Overview
Evaluative research is a particularly useful approach to research in Social Care because it enables us to determine the value of the services we provide. This course will define evaluative research and discuss its purpose in relation to Social Care.
You will distinguish between evaluative research and exploratory research and go on to explore how some types of evaluative research could be described as critical research. You will also examine the use of evaluative research in influencing policy formulation and decision-making.
