Description
MSc Engineering Project Management introduces you to the complete project management process; from developing a business case to planning, scheduling and evaluating project outputs. Engineering projects are becoming increasingly complex, being undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams who collaborate to achieve project goals and so often require dedicated and qualified project managers. Project management has become the strategic focus of all successful organisations, and project management skills are considered a valuable attribute by employers.

Requirements:
*A first degree (2:2 or higher) in a relevant engineering subject such as mechanical, petroleum, chemical or electrical and electronic engineering; or
*A first degree (2:2 or higher) in a non-engineering subject with some practical experience in engineering project management; or
*A Higher National Diploma in a relevant subject such as those above with a minimum three years' post-qualification experience in an engineering or technology-related field.
*We are happy to consider other qualifications combined with appropriate experience that are equivalent to the amounts outlined above.

Introduction to project management; procurement and commercial contract management; projects, organisation and innovation; financial management of engineering projects; quality project management in engineering; risk management and technology evaluation; research methods and professional development; MSc engineering project/dissertation.
