This 1-day course is aimed at the development of individuals in a Management and Leadership role who are responsible for a team of employees.
Building a productive and motivated team is essential to the smooth operating of any business. But teams work better when they have consistent and effective leadership.

Description
Individuals are often promoted or thrust themselves into the Managerial and Leadership roles because they are really good at what they do operationally.
However, whilst they have the knowledge to manage the processes and what the team do, they often lack the Leadership and people skills to lead the team effectively. This leads to inconsistent decisions, lack of engagement, lack of motivation and a poor workplace culture.
This course defines elements of what it takes to be a Leader and not just a Manager in the workplace. It explores how to get the best of of the teams individually and as a group.

This course is suitable for every level of management and leadership the business.
Requirements
Candidates should be in, or about to move into a Supervisory, Management or Leadership role.
