COURSE INTRODUCTION

Every professional lorry or bus driver requires 35 Hours of periodic Training every 5 years. Failure to comply with this mandatory requirement may result in a fine of up to £1,000 if you are found to be driving professionally without Driver CPC.

Description

This DriverCPC course is aimed at educating professional drivers. This training day combines two 3.5 courses to count towards Driver CPC hours and will remind and update drivers on their duties and responsibilities whilst driving, followed by a second session focussing on how to prevent emergencies and react in the event of an emergency.

These courses have been combined as required to complete a minimum training time of 7 hours

The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
