The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting qualification is accredited by The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and it is the perfect entry point for anyone looking to to gain an internationally recognised qualification. AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting is also suitable for those looking to move into a career in accounting.

We want you to be assisted throughout your AAT training with us, so we have created a study bundle with everything you'll need to prepare to sit your exams. This includes eLearning, Kaplan study books, Sage Business Cloud training and courseware for the duration of the course unit, as well as Tutor support throughout your training. The new syllabus doesn't include Sage, however we have continued to include training for Sage Business Cloud as we understand from our close partnerships with businesses that Sage is a desired skill that businesses need.

Assessment Information

There are four assessments in total:

  • Introduction to Bookkeeping
  • Principles of Bookkeeping Controls
  • Principles of Costing
  • The Business Environment

When you are ready to take your assessments, you need to book your exam at an AAT approved assessment venue. We can help find the closest one to you. Exam fees vary from centre to centre, we therefore recommend that you shop around.

Who is this course for?

This course is ideal if you are looking to start a career in Accountancy as you learn the skills and knowledge required to hit the ground running.

This certification will qualify you for accountancy roles and also allow you to progress onto AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.

Requirements

You don't need any prior experience or qualifications to enrol but should have reasonable numeracy and communication skills.

We do require you to be at least 16 years old in order to enrol onto the course.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
