Most CV’s are looked at for about 15 seconds so unless you are spot on. It will go on the “no pile”. Companies who use technology to scan CV’s, will reject them even more quickly if they fail to hit the mark.

Description

The “perfect CV” is the one which does its job which is to impress the recruiter, so they then invite you in for an interview. Recruiters base their final decisions on TNT (Tiny Noticeable Things) – the minor differences between one CV and another.

This programme looks at the TNT which will make your CV stand out & how you can use this to get more interviews.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
