Instructor Overviews
Dr Glenn Wilson was Visiting Professor of Psychology at Gresham College, London from 2009 to 2014. Previously he was Reader in Personality at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College, London, and Adjunct Professor with the University of Nevada, Reno.
He has published more than 100 scientific articles and some 33 books, on topics ranging from personality and attitude measurement to psychophysiology, sexual behaviour and psychology as applied to performing arts.
A pioneer in the field of evolutionary theories of sex differences, attraction and love, in 2001 he was ranked within the 10 most cited British psychologists. He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and appears regularly on TV and radio, particularly in news and documentary programmes.
His books include: Psychology for Performing Artists (Second Edition), (Wiley, 2002). The Science of Love (with C. McLaughlin, Fusion Books 2001), CQ: The Secret of Lasting Love (with J. Cousins, Fusion, 2003), and Born Gay: The Psychobiology of Sex Orientation (with Q. Rahman, Peter Owen, 2005).
Dr. Kieliszewski offers a full range of forensic psychological services including evaluations for competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, sex offending risk assessment, potential for violence risk assessment, juvenile competency, and family court issues/child custody/parental rights. Other areas of practice: Individual and group psychotherapy with adults and adolescents, psychological testing and evaluation, ADHD testing, staff training, clinical supervision, consultation to criminal justice agencies and attorneys. Special interests: forensic records review and consultation, occupational related stress and adjustment, psychotherapy with substance abusers in recovery, correction officer stress, mental health disability.
Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Kieliszewski has also consulted to television and film production companies, most recently serving as a consultant and appearing on camera for programs that have aired on the National Geographic Channel and the Discovery Channel. He specialises in adolescent counselling, adult counselling, clinical and diagnostic, clinical supervision, competency, consultation, counselling, criminal, disability, forensic and much more.
Teresa obtained her BA (Hons)LLB in 2005 she worked in legal investigations such as Miscarriage of Justice on behalf of clients who were either incarcerated or being charged with crimes they claimed they did not commit. She obtained a Masters in Criminology and Criminal Psychology in 2013 and has given many seminars on criminal behaviour as well as numerous TV appearances.
An Irish writer of children's fiction and adults plain English legal and forensic psychology academic books. Teresa has been a private investigator, writer, photographer and lecturer, she backpacked around Europe with her daughter, sails a lovely boat called Baby Girl and survived a scuba diving accident. A Law lecturer and Forensic Psychologist by profession Teresa moonlights as a Private "I" and Author.
