Overview
It is inevitable not to face some sort of challenges and difficulties in life. Every stage in life passes through transition which is a very confusing and a difficult to understand stage that could make anyone go off the rails. Since the transition phase is full of uncertainties and unexpected changes, an individual may choose to resort to self-destructive ways to escape from the harsh reality instead of enduring the hardships and doing the right thing.
Self-destructive choices are prevalent on children especially adolescents. Guidance, understanding and communicating effectively are extremely needed since adolescents in this phase are at risk of developing mental health issues that degrade their quality of life. Additionally, the emergence of social media makes children and adolescents all the more prone to develop behavioural and mental issues.
In counseling children and adolescents, you need to possess the qualification and knowledge essential for providing proper guidance and determining appropriate resolutions. Enrolling to this course is a perfect investment for individuals who would like to jumpstart their counselling career and gain valuable information on adolescent emotions, thinking, and way of life.
