This is introduction to male-friendly counselling teaches you how to understand and successfully engage men in counselling. It includes key strategies for male-friendly counselling including how best you can prepare as a therapist, how you can engage men in therapy, how to incorporate masculinity-informed assessment, and how to assist men to grow and thrive

Nathan Beel is a university lecturer, counsellor, and clinical supervisor. He has three degrees in counselling, including a Master of Counselling, and is currently undertaking doctoral studies. He has taught, published, and presented in a wide range of counselling related topics, and has delivered counselling services for the past 20 years.

The course is designed for mental health practitioners and students, including counsellors, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals. This course will give you a deeper appreciative understanding of men and masculinity, and provide principles on how to become even more effective in engaging and treating male clients.
