Our online COSHH awareness training course covers:
- Why hazardous substances are an issue and examples of incidents involving hazardous substances, along with their consequences
- The forms that hazardous substances can take
- The four ways that hazardous substances can enter the body in order to cause harm
- The harmful effects that hazardous substances can have
- Acute and chronic effects that hazardous substances can cause
- Identifying hazardous substances, including: the key classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) pictograms, and chemical safety data sheets
- The key legal requirements under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations, including: risk assessment, emergency procedures, health surveillance, Workplace Exposure Limits (WELS), employees responsibilities
- COSHH risk assessments, including the means of control
Online test
